Virtual Talking Shop: DEAI and the Current Museum Landscape Roundtable

This roundtable will be moderated by Grace Stewart, Associate VP, Museum Practice Management & Coalition Building, American Alliance of Museums; Patricia Sampson, Director of Bookstore & Resource Center, The Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change; Julia Jordan, Retail Experience Manager, Edelman Fossil Park & Museum; and Elizabeth Price, Executive Director, Museum Store Association.

The session will offer an update on DEAI and the current museum landscape, with a focus on how institutions are navigating evolving circumstances and responding to emerging challenges. Discussion topics will include institutional decision-making, internal and external communications, and the tools and resources available to support museums in this work. The session will emphasize discussion and engagement, including an open Q&A and member participation.
